1999 Carlstrom Beerdie Champions
Cousin Brewski - Dave Carlstrom and Rob Klobukowski

After 2 Carlstrom Beerdie Tournaments where they lost their very first game and had to climb back out of the loser's bracket, Cousin Brewski went 4-0 to win this year's championship. En route to the championship, Cousin Brewski defeated Caucasian Persuasion with a 4-sink win, the first of its kind. Plagued by unforced errors early on, The Cuz was able to regroup and play exceptional defense with timely offense all throughout the tournament. Rob and Dave were both very determined and focused to bring home the trophies this year after numerous chances had gone by the wayside. Beating the defending champs always makes the victory that much sweeter too. (Just look at the disappointment on Marc's face in the lower right)

1999 Carlstrom Beerdie Runner-up
The Hunters - Bob Klobukowski and Dan Murdzek

The defending champs of last year's Carlstrom Beerdie Tournament did not have the luck of the draw on their side. Their first match-up and loss was against one of the other top contenders for the championship, Caucasian Persuasion. After losing their first game, The Hunters pulled off a string of 5 consecutive victories placing them in the championship game, once again, for the second consecutive year. Trying to peer through the fuzziness that had come over their eyes and the loss of stability on Dan's part made their task at hand a mighty one. The Hunters would not go without a fight though losing 1-0 to Cousin Brewski.

1999 Carlstrom Beerdie 3rd Place
Caucasian Persuasion - Marc Bandana and Alan Carlstrom

With the look of a cross between Donnie Brosco and something out of Boogie Nights this dynamic duo was extremely determined to win this year's tournament. It was rumored that they were training with 4oz. bathroom Dixie cups to hone their accuracy for the cup. Marc's mother told him that he better not come home without a trophy because of all the nights of practicing. Well, I've got a place to stay if you need it Marc!

1999 Carlstrom Beerdie Dead Eye Dick
The Hunters - Dan Murdzek

Last year's tournament The Hunters won the championship without sinking a single shot. This year Dan sank 7 in 7 games in their return to the championship.

1999 Carlstrom Beerdie Rookie of the Year
Asses of Fire - Amy Zanetto

This cute little package mesmerized many of her team's opponents from across the table, but the BDLA board members focused solely on her contributions to her team and its 3-2 record. The Asses of Fire handed the Puss Boys both of their tournament losses truly telling us why they are so named the Puss Boys. Amy played great defensively all tournament and also contributed offensively with 2 sinks of her own.
